Heat Stress and Sun Protection - Information OSHA Requires That Your Employees Know
If your employees work outdoors in the hot sun for extended periods of time, are subjected to temperatures of 75 degrees or more for hours at a time, or do physically exhausting work that causes them to sweat profusely while working, they may be susceptible to heat stress and heat-related illnesses. Pregnant women, the elderly, those with a compromised immune system, and people with certain health conditions are particularly susceptible, even in less taxing conditions.
