Walking the Safety Talk

This past weekend I took a spin around a city trail on my bike. I was astonished at the number of parents cycling with their kids... yet only the kids were wearing helmets. Everyone knows wearing a bike helmet is a smart thing to do. Yes, it does mess up your hair, but it can also prevent serious, life debilitating brain injuries. I wonder what those parents will do when the time comes and their kids say "well, if you don't wear a helmet, why should I?"
